Dallas is a major city in Texas. Located in North Texas, Dallas is the main core of the largest metropolitan area in the South. Dallas is the cultural hub of Texas. The Harrison is close to substantial shopping, with the Southwest Center Mall directly across I-20. Just south of The Harrison on U.S. 67 are several retail shopping centers, including Hillside Village, Pleasant Run Towne Crossing, the Market at Cedar Hill, Cedar Hill Village, the Plaza at Cedar Hill and Lake Ridge Village. Also close by is Target, Super Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Lowe’s Home Improvement Center, the Home Depot, Ross Dress for Less, Costco, WinCo Foods and many others. The Harrison is one mile from the Methodist Charlton Medical Center, an award- winning hospital with 309 beds and over 2,000 employees. Methodist Charlton has completed two expansions and upgrades over the past five years. The Harrison is one mile from Boulder Park, one of north Texas’ premier mountain trail networks with 10 miles of off-road trails for bicycling and hiking.
